A practical example
Visitors scan a QR code near the entrance and browse the flavour list while following their ticket. Staff advance the service queue after each customer. For orders that need preparation, a separate pickup board can show ready receipt numbers.

Questions before you start
Should we use a service queue or a pickup board?
Use a service queue for taking turns to choose and order. Use a pickup board when customers already have order numbers and need to see which prepared orders can be collected.
Can this run alongside our booking or checkout system?
Yes, as a separate queue for people waiting for service. Your existing system still handles bookings, payments and customer records. Staff manage the queue in Linelemon; it does not automatically synchronize with those systems.
What equipment and connection do we need?
Use an internet-connected phone, tablet or computer for staff, and a browser on a screen for the display. Customers do not need to install an app to join a queue or view the board. Keep the internet connection available during service.
What is free, and when do we need Pro?
Yes. Service queues and pickup boards are free to use. Browser notifications when it is your turn in a service queue are also free. Customize Pro is an optional paid subscription for branding, customization and advance queue reminders. SMS reminders require Pro and separate prepaid balance.
